Ron has been a minister with the churches of Christ since 1966.  He has served as a minister, Elder, Dean of the Southern California School of Evangelism, and as a teacher in both public and private colleges.  Ron has a B.S. in Business Administration (Oklahoma Christian College, 1966); a M.A in Religion and a M. Divinity (Pepperdine University 1975 & 1992).  Ron has also done some doctoral studies at Harding University .

Ron and his wife Sheila were both born and raised in California .  They were married in January of 1967.  They have three grown children, 10 grand-children and one great-granddaughter.  Sheila works at a doctor’s office.

Ron and Sheila love spending time with each other and their family.  They also enjoy entertaining and getting to know others.  Sheila is an avid reader and Ron loves to play tennis.

Ron serves the church here part-time, focusing primarily on the small group’s ministry.  Our goal is to have every member active in a small group.
